The Twelfth Day In December is coming up this Thursday, December 12 at Vancouver Running Co.
To get you prepped and ready for a good time, read on for details of the evening.
But...before you do, remember three things

- Bring cash for raffle tickets and extra drinks...say it with us "cash, cash, cash!" - all proceeds will be donated to Covenant House BC!

You MUST sign our waiver to participate. If you have done so in the past you do not need to complete another copy

HOW DOES IT WORK
You will arrive at Vancouver Running Co. no later than 6:00pm to get yourself checked-in, geared up and ready to run. The run will begin from Seaforth Park just down from the shop at 6:30pm. Here you will receive final instructions on the course - and trust us, you're in for a good time.
Head out on your 12 checkpoint adventure where you'll be faced with challenges ranging from a good 'ol fashioned sign along to Santa bowling. You can run on a team or as an individual but everyone must complete their own checkpoint card.
The course is approx. 5.5km and will need to be completed by 7:45pm

You will be provided with the following map when you check in. This is the checkpoint guide and how you get each challenge signed-off
Once complete you'll head back to Vancouver Running Co. to hand in your completed checkpoint card, get your pizza/drink tickets and a special gift. Hang out and eat pizza, be merry, buy LOTS of raffle tickets (remember...cash!) and just generally have a good time.
TIMELINE
Thursday, December 12
5:30pm onward - Arrive at Vancouver Running Co. for check-in, some hangouts, beers, raffle ticket buying, etc.
6:15pm - Head to Seaforth Park to await further instructions
6:30pm - RUN!
When complete - Arrive back and redeem your completed checkpoint card for your pizza and drink ticket
8:30-45pm Raffle time!

WHAT TO BRING
- We will have limited space in the shop so please bring as little belongings as possible
- Dress for the weather - you are 100% responsible for your own comfort
- It's dark so plan accordingly - headlamps, reflective clothing, all great ideas!
- Proper running shoes

- Your ID or registration confirmation to check-in

Q. How long is the course?
A. The course is approx. 5.5km - you will have 1hr15m to complete
Q. What's the refund policy?
A. There are no refunds for Holiday Social. Once we have your money we're going to donate it so if you can't come, know you did well:)
Q. Do ticket sales go to Covenant House?
A. Yes, after expenses all profits will go to Covenant House
Q. How else can I support with donations?
A. We will have some amazing prizes from our friends at lululemon, Nike, adidas, Ciele, Stance, Myodetox, Hoka, asics and more that you will have a chance to win through raffle ticket purchase.
Want another cold one? Beer sales over and above the drink included with your ticket will be donated.
Q. Can I just show up have a beer and head home, or do I need to buy a ticket?
A. No, you must register and purchase a ticket to take part.
Q. Will this replace the VRC Flight Crew run this week?
A. Yes it will. There is no regular run this week - it's time to give back!
