RACHEL CLIFF
Vancouver Running Co. Elite Ambassador
We are pleased to welcome Rachel Cliff to the Vancouver Running Co. family as our first Elite Ambassador. The VRC Elite Ambassador program has been designed to support runners performing at the highest level so they can work towards their goals without worrying about the kit needed to do so - and if you have been keeping an eye on Rachel you know she is outstanding in her field.
Rachel spent most of her early running career on the track, but recently transitioned to spending more time on the road. After crushing the Canadian half marathon record earlier this year, she put in her first marathon distance performance in Berlin this September, posting the fastest debut by a Canadian in 2:28:53.
Based in Vancouver full-time, Rachel trains with BC Endurance Project, a group of local elite runners coached by Richard Lee, and is a fan of anything chocolate and peanut butter filled after a big race. When she’s not running you might catch her enjoying a more leisurely hike amongst the trails of the North Shore, or exploring some of Vancouver’s fantastic craft breweries.
Look out for Rachel training and racing throughout the world as she works towards her goal of qualifying for Tokyo 2020. We couldn't be more proud to have Rachel represent Vancouver Running Co. as she continues to make all Canadians proud.
