Subject 2/5: Stack Height
.
Shoe stack height refers to the height (or thickness) in millimetres of material between the sole of your foot and the outsole of the shoe. There is no standard for measuring stack height but, commonly, it is measured from the inside of the shoe, beneath the footbed, to the outer part of the outsole at both the heel and the forefoot of the shoe. Or by simply measuring the height of the outsole and midsole combined from the exterior of the shoe.
