Take the traditional run clinic, turn it upside down, and mix it with a healthy dose of fun, frivolity and a few surprises, and you get the SeaWheeze Unclinic 2018 - the perfect way to train you for the lululemon SeaWheeze half marathon.
Led by Vancouver Running Co. owner and lululemon Ambassador Rob Smith, this clinic is unlike any before - we’ll help you meet your SeaWheeze goals, but we’ll also throw in a few surprises along the way, which will guarantee you’ll want to come back every week. The Unclinic will be 11 weeks of workouts, focusing on tempo and speedwork, the art of long runs, the importance of warm-ups and cool downs, and why strength training can help us all.
In partnership with lululemon and a whole host of our favourite Vancouver neighbours, the Unclinic will make the lead up to SeaWheeze the most fun you’ve ever had training for a race.
Your registration includes:
- 11 weeks of guided training taking place each Wednesday evening at 6:00pm between July 11 and September 20
- A pre or post-workout activity each week with a local partner you know and love
- Weekly training guidance to complete outside of led Wednesday training sessions

Q. When do the workouts take place
A. Workouts will take place each Wednesday evening at 6:00pm between July 11 and September 20
Q. Will there be workouts to do between sessions on Wednesdays?
A. Yes, for participants of SeaWheeze you will continue working through the training plan sent to you from the SeaWheeze organizers. This plan was created by Rob Smith and will coincide with the workouts each week. For those not taking part in SeaWheeze, you will receive the following 6 days of your training after each Wednesday session.
Q. Where will the workouts meet?
A. Most all of the workouts will leave from Vancouver Running Co. 1886 W1st Ave
Q. How long is each session?
A. Times will vary but count on each session taking anywhere from 90-120min including the surprise activity.
Q. Do you offer any discounts?
A. We cannot offer any discounts on the SeaWheeze Unclinic.
Q. What ability is the Unclinic intended for?
A. The SeaWheeze Unclinic is meant for runners of all abilities and in place to help you reach your half marathon goals.
Q. What the heck does Unclinic mean?
A. You know the classic 'Clinic'? It's the opposite - we'll train you up and have boat loads of fun with you while we do it!
Q. Tell me more about Rob Smith
A. Rob is one of the owners of Vancouver Running Co. and a lululemon run ambassador, and is the creator of the SeaWheeze half marathon training plan. Rob has been running since the age of 11 competing in everything from 5K’s to marathons - most recently the Boston Marathon this past April. Rob will be training you along with assistance from VRC Flight Crew ambassadors.

A. Nope! You'll receive an email from us about one week out so we can gather any additional information we need.
