2015

VRC / Vancouver Running Company was created to celebrate running, from the quiet trails of the Pacific Northwest to the vibrant streets of Vancouver. It became a place where runners connected through gear, friendships, and shared experiences.

2021

Physiotherapist Nick Lo joined VRC / Vancouver Running Co. as a partner. With years of expertise in movement health and a passion for running, Nick brought a fresh perspective that combined running culture with wellness.

2023

Larry Lau joined as a partner and co-founder, bringing his expertise in technology as Vancouver Running Co. rebranded to RunAsYouAre. Alongside Rob Smith and Nick Lo, he helped open the flagship shop on West 4th in Kitsilano—offering footwear, apparel, and expert support for runners of all levels. It’s a hub for group runs, events, and bringing the running community together.

2024

We’re exclusively launching the RunReady Performance Program, a running health service available in-store and delivered by certified RunReady physiotherapists. This program includes expert assessments, personalized footwear matching, and tailored exercises to improve your comfort and performance—helping you run healthier for longer.

West 4th Flagship Store

Our store location in Kitsilano, Vancouver has many little subtleties that runners from the Pacific Northwest will find familiar. We've completely remodelled the existing space to create a bright and welcoming environment that reflects elements of the landscape and surrounding area of Vancouver.
