Part of our vision at Vancouver Running Co. is to contribute to a better world in everything we do, whether that’s through inspiring communities or working towards producing less waste through products and practices. The VRC Shoe Recycling Initiative combines these objectives and lets us pay it forward at the same time.

During the month of February we are asking the running community to bring in their used running shoes. For every pair given to us, we will either recycle them through a local partner, or give them to a community charity for a second life.

Step 1: Gather up your used running shoes
Step 2: Head to Vancouver Running Co. and drop them off
Step 3: Smile knowing you've helped out both mother nature and someone in need of new shoes

Not in Vancouver and want to take part?
You've got two options

Option 1: Send your shoes to us at this address and we'll send your code via email
Option 2: Recycle or drop off your shoes at a local charitable organization, take a photo of you handing them over, tag your Instagram Story with @vanrunco and #vrcrecycling, and we'll connect with you about the rest
