ROLE OVERVIEW
As a visionary storyteller and skilled visual artist, you will play a pivotal role in creating captivating content that leaves a lasting impact on our audience. In this dynamic position, you will be responsible for capturing high-quality videos and photographs, managing the entire creative process from concept to delivery, and producing compelling visual content for diverse projects ranging from social media content to product overview videos, through to partnership brand campaigns. Your creativity and technical prowess will help elevate our brand presence and drive engagement across various platforms increasing consumer engagement and conversions.
This role will report to the COO/Brand Manager.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Visual Storytelling: You possess the unique ability to weave narratives through visual elements. With your keen eye for detail and impeccable composition skills, you will lead in planning and executing video and photo shoots for a wide range of projects, including community events, product launches, brand activations, and more.
Strategic Content Creation: Collaborating closely with our marketing and brand team, as well as different brand partners, you will actively contribute to shaping and executing on our content strategy. Your knack for crafting captivating visuals, creating mood boards, and aligning visuals with our brand identity will be the driving force behind successful campaigns.
End-to-End Project Management: As the Creative Content Producer, you will take ownership of the entire creative process, ensuring seamless execution from concept to delivery, owning timelines and deliverables throughout the process. Your project management skills will be instrumental in achieving project objectives.
Video Editing and Post-Production Mastery: Your expertise in video editing software will bring life to our projects. With meticulous attention to detail, you will review and refine footage to produce polished and professional videos that captivate our audience and convey powerful messages.
Photography and Image Curation: You will capture high-quality images for ecommerce product shots, community events, and promotional materials. Your proficiency in photo editing tools will further enhance our brand's visual identity.
Collaborative Excellence: Embracing a collaborative approach, you will work cohesively with our internal teams, external partners, and diverse brand collaborators. Your ability to adapt and thrive in various project environments will ensure the success of each endeavour.
Training Videos: A key aspect of your role is creating internal training videos that empower our team members with knowledge and skills. Your visual communication prowess will facilitate effective learning, contributing to the growth and development of our talented workforce.
Brand Activations: Fuelling brand activations with creativity and flair, you will orchestrate unforgettable visual experiences through photo and video recap content that resonate with our audience. From conceptualization to execution, your visionary talents will breathe life into our brand's initiatives and leave an indelible mark on our customers and partners.

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
- Skilled in capturing moments that evoke emotions, storytelling, and creating narratives. (We’d love to see some examples of past work!)
- Past experience in creating various styles of content for brands
- Advanced knowledge of various video formats and codecs.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and content trends.
- Expertise in aligning visuals with brand identity and messaging
- Strong organizational skills to handle fast turn around timelines and deliverables.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and adaptability to changing project needs.
- Proficient in photo editing and video editing tools (Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere, Capcut).
- A college or university degree in Film, Media Production, Visual Arts, or related field is not a requirement, but a bonus.
WORKING HOURS
Your regular working hours will be 40 hours per week, primarily from 9:00am-5:00pm, Monday to Friday, at 2033 W4th, Vancouver BC.
However, given the dynamic nature of creative projects and the potential need for events or projects outside regular hours, flexibility is a key aspect of this role. When required to cover events or handle projects that fall beyond the standard 9:00am-5:00pm timeframe, you will have the freedom to adjust your working hours accordingly to accommodate these unique requirements.
SAMPLE DELIVERABLE TIMELINES
As Creative Content Producer you will be responsible for meeting timelines on both regular content/asset deliverables as well as special projects, events and community activations that take place throughout the year.

COMPENSATION
Compensation will include a competitive base salary, plus bonus opportunities and other perks and benefits.
