When we think Vancouver, one landmark that always comes to mind is the Lions Gate Bridge. And when we think about the perfect playground, it's absolutely the North Shore mountains. These two Vancouver icons are part of the tapestry that make up Vancouver Running Co. and why they are the core of the VRC icon in our logo. So when we set out to shoot the label for the Postmark | Vancouver Running Co. Helles Lager, we knew the perfect location.

Situated above the Stanley Park Causeway on the way to Prospect Point is the ideal viewpoint of both the Lions Gate and the North Shore mountains. To capture the beauty and mood of Vancouver we shot the label photo in the early morning light on a rainy April day with our friend and local photographer Chris Thorn.

To complete the label that would wrap the Helles Lager we enlisted the help of our two ambassadors, Linda Wong and Jay Grandin. Both Linda and Jay have been instrumental in building the community of runners that support and contribute to Vancouver Running Co. and VRC Flight Crew. They are also two of the most talented runners we know so shooting them is an absolute pleasure.

The result was exactly how we envisioned it. Taking everything that makes up Vancouver Running Co. and creating a photograph that represented what we stand for and that lives up to the beautiful labels Postmark Brewing has created since their beginning.
